The Texas Gulf Coast Area Labor Federation (TGCALF), AFL-CIO, a coalition of 75 unions and their 60,000 union members in the Houston region, seeks to hire a Workforce Development Program Manager (PM). The PM’s primary role is to manage the Apprenticeship Advantage program, a collaboration of the AFL-CIO and 11 union apprenticeship programs to invest in and expand access to union apprenticeships, ensuring they meeting their deliverables and managing their spending in line with approved budgets. This work is funded by a 1.5 year extension contract with Harris County from ARPA funds, with the possibility of continuing similar projects continuing depending on funding. The PM reports to the TGCALF’s Executive Director.
